Tim cut his teeth as a reporter on local newspapers, before progressing through local and national radio to become a political correspondent at BBC Westminster. From there, he pursued his passion for cameras to become a lighting cameraman and TV Producer for BBC News and Current Affairs. Tim toured the World, did stints in Washington and war-torn Iraq before returning to Wales to make programmes for the BBC. Some that he worked on recently won BAFTA Cymru and Broadcast Awards.
In 2013, Tim seized the opportunity to go freelance and offered his video production, photography, and marketing services to companies and charities, mainly in Wales and the West of England through As You See It Media video production agency.
Tim still works for the BBC and Channel 4 News and is regularly called upon to join productions as a freelance cameraman for hire. He has all the experience you need to tell your story.
Gail Jones is a former BBC Production Manager who helped to set up BBC World News and kept a tight rein on spending at BBC Westminster. She organised the moving of hundreds of journalists around the UK for the political conference season every autumn. After that, she was Head of Production Modernisation at BBC Wales, driving through new ways of working and workplace efficiencies. Gail now assists Tim As You See It Media’s Business Manager.
Film Studies Graduate, Will creates great content at As You See It Media. He shoots video and stills, edits on Premier Pro and Photoshop and creates classy brochures and flyers on Indesign. He’s Trainee Content Creator for now!
Peter Williams is one of the best-known photographers around Mid Wales. He was a photographer and Picture Editor for the Brecon and Radnor Express and knows just about everyone. Having worked alongside him on some big stories, we know he never misses a shot. He’s also very creative and will be our photographic lead on weddings and photographic events.
EDIT ASSISTANT AND RUNNER
Ty is As You See It Media’s freelance Edit Assistant and Runner. He’s a fast editor on Premier Pro and can operate the company’s cameras, rig lights and mics. Ty’s a trained musician, so has an ear for the best quality sound. He’s an expert at live streaming. His main job is as a session musician and Vlogger – catch him on YouTube!
Dan is the WordPress Whizzkid behind all our websites. We have not yet found anything he cannot do. All his sites are fast, responsive and SEO optimised. We provide the content, he injects the magic.
