Telling Stories Through Video – Rhodes Wood – A Care In Focus Film
It’s not very often we get the opportunity to tell stories as impactful as Laura’s.
Working with Elysium Healthcare we often produce short, documentary-style videos following current or previous service users, allowing them to tell their stories of recovery, re-entry into the community and life living with mental illness. These films are usually filmed in a way as not to identify those involved. On this occasion, Laura agreed to be filmed openly as part of this Care In Focus film, to inspire and help people who have been through or are going through similar challenges.
Laura previously spent two years of her life receiving therapy and care at Rhodes Wood. Now having been back in the community, living fully independently, she returns to reunite with staff who made her recovery possible.
