Beacon Park Boats 2023 Open Day
We had a busy but enjoyable day at the boathouse for Beacons Park Boats’ 2023 Open day. After promoting the event on social media across many local groups and pages, it was great to see the 400+ people turn up to take a look around the luxury boats and workshop. We targeted local groups, particularly because attracting potential customers from far afield would be more difficult on a cold January day, and because there is a valuable customer base on our doorstep, made up of local people who may want to see the canal from a different perspective on a day boat or narrowboat. The Beacon Park Boats team did an amazing job at welcoming guests from as far as Reading, taking them on tours of the boats, on boat rides and providing in-depth insight into the craftsmanship behind each boat. Interactions and comments left on the social media posts about the event were shared with the team at Beacon to follow up on, and hopefully result in more bookings.
