Multi-Camera Shoots For Busy Businesses
More cameras don’t necessarily mean better video coverage, particularly when a client is nervous or has a difficult story to tell. But sometimes, capturing live action from multiple angles can be efficient for busy businesses.
This was the case for our client, Beacon Park Boats. Owner, Alasdair Kirkpatrick, wanted to make a video to illustrate a new map he has created for cruising the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
He didn’t want to script the film or use autocue, so we recorded it ‘as-live’ and edited it together as a multicamera sequence, adding graphics where needed. The initial investment in getting multiple camera operators on site saved in the long run as he did not need to do numerous retakes.
