Telling stories for Ukrainian refugees

Sound quality is often overlooked when it comes to telling a story. However, at As You See It Media, we tell stories using professional audio equipment, and with our expertise, we can help you deliver a clear and concise message to your audience, like this audio recording we did for Beacons for Ukraine which you can listen to here

We knew that we would have groups of variable sizes to record, so we had to make sure our microphone set-up could capture everyone as evenly as possible while also excluding distracting background noises.  So, the microphones were placed close and attenuated to focus their sound collection pattern.  Audio editing was in Abobe Audition.

Beacons for Ukraine is a network of hosts, Ukrainian refugees, volunteers and supporters covering South Powys. Working alongside the Hay, Brecon and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees (HBTSR), they provide information and advice, advocacy, signposting, networking opportunities, community links, peer support, social gatherings and friendship to refugees in need. It was an absolute pleasure to work alongside Beacons for Ukraine and assist them in telling their stories, many of which were harrowing but all inspirational.
